DORIAN ORAN (*ORASHAN X DORIAN BINT KISRA)
Oran has less than a dozen foals on the ground but they are all of excellent quality. We are happy to be utilizing him in our Straight Program after being used mostly in a domestic program. We are thrilled with the results on our mares Malikah DSA and JPL Aliha Nafara. We are expecting more Oran foals in 2009 out of Taalice Moon and Kisra Damira. We anxiously await their arrival. Oran's most significant offspring is his daughter, Dorian Oreana. Oreana was named the 2002 Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Mare. This is a huge accomplishment for Oran as this is the highest honor at the Egyptian Event. She also did well in Class A competition being named Region 16 Champion Mare along with other Class A wins. She has since produced two beautiful fillies, Dorian Aurealia and Kisra Doriana. HF Shiloh, a gelding son of Dorian Oran also has multiple wins in halter and western pleasure. Oran's accomplishments as a sire come as no surprise. A glance at his pedigree and one will see champion after champion producer. Oran's sire is former Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion, *Orashan. A beautiful horse imported from Germany by the Imperial Egyptian Stud where he served as their head sire for years. *Orashan has since, in his later years, been exported to Australia to Saba Arabians. *Orashan is best known as a producer of great daughters (Oran is following in his footsteps). His most noted daughter is BB Ora Kalilah, dam of multi champion Imperial Baarez. Dorian Oran's dam was also a champion show mare as a younger horse before entering the breeding shed. She has been a terrific producer and was exported to Saudi Arabia in 2000 along with Oran's maternal sister, Dorian BB Kisra. We are the proud owners of the only maternal sister in the US, Dorian Dafina (by *Hadidi).
